Our brothers and sisters at Local 7234 have been locked out of Asko, Inc. in South Holland IL, since December. Asko resurfaces shear knives. The company refuses to bargain in good faith and has gone as far as to replace the 19 Union members with scab workers.

Local 1010 and other locals from District 7 joined Local 7234 on April 28, 2005 for a rally, demanding a contract and “Scabs out, Union in!”

The United Steelworkers see this as an affront to all Union members and will continue to fight this company and any others until fair and equitable agreements can be reached.

As always, we will outlast the Union busters by “One Day Longer!”
